If people now can go to the ATM or use a debit card and it will be declined – banks are going to lose serious profits. Imagine a bank not making bucks each time you overdraw for 2 bucks. Will banks start charging for checking accounts? How will they make up those fees? Banks are not just going to sit there and take this – I know banks.
